We hold adoptions most weekends at the following location:

 

Muskegon Petco (5239 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444)

• Thursday, Friday 4:00 - 7:00 pm

• Saturday, Sunday 12:00-4:00 pm

If you see an animal you are interested call or text Diane Valk (616-402-1417).  We will then be in contact with you to set up a time to meet the animal.

Adoption Day Process

​​

1. Come to one of the above locations during our adoption hours with an animal carrier and find our volunteers.
               We do not allow an animal to leave Petco without a carrier.  
               There are carriers to purchase at Petco if you do not already own one.  
               We will not provide a carrier to you.

2. Fill out and sign the official Heaven Can Wait Adoption Application

3. Pay the HCW volunteer the adoption fee.

4. Fill out Petco Form.
     This is required to take a live animal out of the store and helps HCW get grant money.

5. Go through the checkout to process the Petco Form.

6. Take your Adoption Photo with your new adopted pet.

7. Take your new fur-baby home with you
